When you order content from us we will be working on it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The way my natural writing process works is that an idea for your article will pop into my head when I'm in a queue in the supermarket, a funny line will hit me when I am stuck in traffic, a new explanation will come to me when I am in the shower.

The more time you give us the better your article will be.

'Fresh Eyes'

I believe that rushing out an article in 24 hours produces poor quality content. After almost 6 years of researching, writing, helping commission, edit, and proofread articles on Film Ireland one of the most important tools in my arsenal is 'fresh eyes'. 

What I mean by that is to never rush and send an article when it is 'done' but instead to sleep on it, and then look at it again the following day.  This can lead to huge improvement in flow and readability.

When the creative juices run out each day and my eyes become 'stale' looking at your article, I will stop and start work on something else.  Then your article will ferment in my mind overnight and I will come back to it reinvigorated the following day.  Over the course of 4 or 5 working days your article will be completed.

Journal of Record

Film Ireland concentrated on filmmaking rather than reviews of popcorn blockbuster movies and we prided ourselves on impeccable research, attention to detail and always having factually correct information. Many colleges, universities, cultural organisations, production companies and those with a keen interest in film were subscribers and it was regarded as the "journal of record" for the Irish film industry for over 25 years.

I carry this work ethic and experience over to Raconteur Content Creators. All our articles are researched and fact checked with links provided. I don't know any other way to produce content. 

You can place your order here. We charge per 100 words with a minimum order of 1000 words, so for a 2000-word article you enter '20' as quantity. Please fill out as much detail as possible in the "all other relevant information" section.

For example, "My running blog is informal and my blog posts are conversational, the tone is light and fun and I like using humour. I like your article 4. "The 3am guy....", I write in the first person and here is an example of post of mine with a similar tone www.mysite.com, I also like this post on another site www.othersite.com"

You know what you want!  So just explain it as clearly as possible.

However I know from my 6 years working on Film Ireland magazine that the main reason articles are rejected is because of a communication breakdown between Commissioning Editor [which is you, the customer] and the writer. Both sides must be 100% clear on requirements and what is expected and when it is to be delivered. Therefore I will not process your payment immediately.  I will review your order and might contact you for more information. Only when both sides are satisfied will I process your payment and start work on your piece.

You can choose to pay by PayPal or by Stripe. Please take care and give us as much information as possible about your article when filling out our order form.  We charge per 100 words, so for a 1800-word article simply order a quantity of 18.  To check out you can proceed to PayPal and can pay using your PayPal account or by credit/debit card using Stripe.

This is not a quick service, this is a quality service. For 1500 words we aim to return the content in 4, possibly 5, working days. However, like back in my magazine days, I always keep in contact with customers and keep them updated on delivery times.

Each article is written over a number of days as it produces the best results. If there is just one article in my queue to write, it will still take around 5 days as the quality of writing improves substantially the more time you spend on it with 'fresh eyes' each day.

US$9 per 100 words and slow?!? Are you serious?!?

Yes, I am. I believe quick and cheap is a false economy.  All our samples were researched and written over approximately 7 to 10 working days in order to produce writing of that quality. The 747-word Sunday Independent piece took around 20 hours of actual work staring at my computer screen along with ideas bubbling away in the background for a total of two weeks.

In general I am available from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm GMT, I can't guarantee that I will be answering emails or contactable outside those hours but I might be, I also might be working on articles outside those hours if I have some free time. So my apologies in advance if I don't reply to you quickly on weekends.

I will keep in contact with you personally to tell you how the piece is developing, if for whatever reason there is a delay, I will tell you in advance. 

In general, if we do not fulfil your requirements, revisions are free but if you change your requirements then changes will not be free.

If we both do the correct preparation initially and you provide us with all the points you need covered, then only minor rewrites, if any, would be required. This is a premium service and I want happy customers who feel they are getting good value for money.

The brief/requirements that you send will be fulfilled.  If you only provide us with a title then you may not get the exact content you want.  However you will not be entitled to a rewrite as we will have spent many hours on your article and fulfilled the brief/requirements provided.

Partial rewrites may be required where, for example, you give us 4 points for your 1500-word article and we didn't get across the exact idea you wanted in one of those points.  We would then be happy to rewrite that specific 200/300-word section.

If we both do out preparatory work then rewrites won't be needed.
